I am researching the detection of malicious cyber-attacks in electric vehicle charging systems to ensure the safety of the vehicle and the strong financial impact on the consumer’s perspective. I am also researching hardware, CPU/Chip attacks and electromagnetic attacks involved in the procedure. The emphasis and primary goal of my project consists of the security of the user from fraud, identity theft, background and credit card information that could be potentially stolen in the process. As an electrical and computer engineering major, I am working on protection and security of the user and integrity attacks involved in the process.
