FERNANDA GARCIA HERNANDEZ
I am a fourth-year Computer Science student at UTSA with a double concentration in software engineering and data science, passionate about applying my technical skills to develop solutions that create meaningful and lasting impact, particularly at the intersection of education, technology, and sustainability. Through software development, research practices, and data analytics, I aim to make emerging technologies more accessible and understandable for students who are navigating these tools early in their academic journeys.
I am committed to promoting responsible and inclusive technology education by helping students engage with AI confidently while understanding its broader social and environmental implications. By creating supportive and welcoming learning experiences, I believe we can empower students from all backgrounds to develop strong technical skills and informed digital habits.
I aspire to pursue higher education to deepen my expertise and continue growing both personally and professionally, with the goal of contributing to innovative, ethical solutions in the tech industry. I am excited to be part of a program that promotes educational access and sustainability, and look forward to contributing to the growth of both the tech community and the border society it serves.
