Liliana Gutierrez, PhD

Dr. Liliana Gutierrez is Assistant Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs in the College of Education and Human Development at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She received a B.A. in English from California State University, Los Angeles, and a M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Her research interests include underrepresented students, non-traditional students, and parenting students, specifically, how the parents’ education level affects the educational aspirations of children. She has been at UTSA for 14 years, with 12 years at COEHD.
