LILLY WEAVER
Lilly Weaver is a third-year Statistics and Data Science student at UT San Antonio’s College of AI, Cyber, and Computing. She was selected as a P20 IES Pathways Fellow, a federally funded Institute of Education Sciences program designed to prepare students for research careers through hands-on experience. Her research interests include causal inference, algorithmic fairness, and the use of machine learning to inform student success initiatives in higher education. She is particularly interested in evaluating the causal impact of early warning systems and how model-influenced interventions shape student outcomes. Lilly works as an entry-level data analyst at Northwest Vista College, where she synthesizes institutional reports using student-level data to support administrators in evidence-based decision-making. She also is a part of UT San Antonio’s Data Science for Social Good Lab where she researches eviction patterns in off-campus student housing and their implications for student success. She plans to pursue a PhD in Statistics to continue improving methods that make data-informed decisions fairer and more effective. Outside of research, Lilly enjoys photography, hiking, and spending time with her two dogs, Sunrise and Thunder.
